Walnut Creek is a city in the East Bay in Contra Costa County. It has a population around 70,000 people. Walnut Creek is well known for its downtown area called Broadway Plaza. Broadway Plaza has a number of high end retail shops, small businesses, chain restaurants and family restaurants. On the weekends, Broadway Plaza will be packed with people whether they be shopping around Nordstrom, Apple, or getting something to eat at one of its many restaurants.

Walnut Creek also has a number of different high schools and suburban areas. Walnut Creek is home to Las Lomas, Northgate, and Berean Christian.

Las Lomas is in Downtown Walnut Creek.

Northgate is up Ygnacio and sits at the North Gate entrance to Mt. Diablo, where it gets its name from.

Berean Christian is a smaller Christian High School in the San Miguel neighborhood.
